ANNOUNCEMENTS

Happy 2025!
My Winter/Spring session of lessons begins this weekend. I’m very excited to be back in Nebraska and ready to be back in the pool. I hope everyone had a happy holiday season.
Please see below to double check that you are ready for lesson start dates this Saturday 1/11, Sunday 1/12, and Monday 1/13.
Check your lesson start time on my session page at faceupfirst.com
Pay any outstanding tuition fees.
Make sure your water safety certificate is current. Each family needs only one certificate, but the certs do expire one year from date of issue.
Get your swim bag ready with the swim required swim school uniform suit, towel, and maybe cap and goggles. I provide cap and goggles for instructional swimmers, everyone else is required to bring their own to practice. Artistic Swimmers will also need a nose plug.
FUF Policy Reminders
OHB does not allow food in the building.
Attendance at all lessons is not required, but please try to make as many as you can. There are no make-ups for lessons missed due to illness or conflicts for other activities. I do not conduct make-ups for cancellations of lessons that are beyond my control, most notably weather conditions and one-lesson cancellations for pool mechanical or chemical issues.
Use the lesson swap link on the home page or from the main menu to swap lessons with other swimmers or learn of lessons that may be going unused and are available. I want all the lessons to be used. Please use the lesson swap page or contact between families to arrange these time changes. Do not contact me directly to schedule swaps.
Announcements and reminders of all kinds, including weather notices are posted on the Announcement page of the website – not on any social media. Click on the Announcement bar from the top of any page at faceupfirst.com. It’s a good idea to take a quick look at the website each week before coming to lessons…just in case.
Questions? JeanieNeal@faceupfirst.com, (402) 312-1012
Finally, just in case you have swimmers in each of the two FUF programs, or are in contact with someone who swims with Shelby, Shelby’s lessons do not begin until NEXT Saturday, January 18.
Stay warm! See you very soon.
Jeanie

Refunds & Make-Up Lessons
Coach Shelby and I do not issue refunds or schedule make-ups for lessons canceled due to conditions beyond our control, most notably weather conditions, but also for mechanical/chemical issues. Cancelations lasting more than one lesson will be handled on a case by case basis.
